Uganda Airlines to Launch Four Weekly Accra Services from October 2026

Travellers between Ghana and East Africa will soon have another flight option as Uganda Airlines prepares to launch four-times-weekly services between Uganda and Ghana from 27 October 2026.

The new service will add Uganda Airlines to the growing network of East African carriers operating from Accra, alongside Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines and Air Tanzania. According to AviationGhana, Euroworld Air Services Limited will serve as Uganda Airlines' General Sales Agent in Ghana.

The addition comes as air connectivity within Africa continues to expand, giving travellers more options for moving between West and East Africa and potentially reducing the need for some journeys to connect through European or Middle Eastern hubs.

For Ghanaian travellers, the new service could provide additional options for business travel, tourism and onward travel within East Africa, including access to Uganda and its wider regional connections.

The development also contributes to the broader growth of intra-African air connectivity, which plays an important role in supporting tourism, business and the movement of people across the continent.

With more East African airlines operating from Accra, travellers now have an expanding range of options when planning journeys between Ghana and destinations across the region.
