THAI E-VISA: Apply, Anywhere, Anytime - Foreign nationals can apply for THAI E-VISA from every corner of the world.

On 17 December 2024, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, presided over the launch of Kick-off THAI E-VISA: Apply, Anywhere, Anytime at Vithes Samosorn, marking an important milestone in the worldwide implementation of the electronic visa (e-Visa) system across 94 Royal Thai Embassies and Consulates-General. This system will be available globally starting from 1 January 2025 through the website www.thaievisa.go.th.

E-Visa enhances services and facilitates foreign nationals wishing to obtain a visa to enter the Kingdom of Thailand. The system also improves the effectiveness of screening individuals entering the country, reduces paperwork, and integrates databases with other relevant agencies. This initiative aligns with the government's policy to continue the success of the country’s system-wide visa restructuring to facilitate various types of visitors, thus revitalizing Thailand’s image and international confidence, as well as reiterating the government’s ongoing commitment to making Thailand a global hub for tourism, business, and international exchange, both at the regional and global level.
